The Sumo combines all the principles that we have developed
over the years: - the shape .... puts the volume on the fire bed, while adding to
- safety ....... the fuel collapses down into the centre, which aids
- combustion .. the gases 'tumble', for thorough burn
- fast heat ..... is generated through
the big surface areas
TWO NEW FEATURES FOR 2010 ... - split baffle ... or 'gills'; a unique solution to increase the
stove's power
- new airwash
..contained in the door itself

|
| this SUMO 15 is configured for a free standing situation, with glass panels on four sides |

|
We make these in four standard sizes, from 8 to 25 kw outputs. They can
also be made to be free standing, as above, or as double siders, to face into two room either side of the chimney.

SUMO BOILERS
The large surface area of the SUMO body makes for a very powerful boiler
version, ideal for full central heating and domestic hot water. About 75% of the heat goes to water, and we make them with
total outputs of:
16kws .... ideal for a 2 to 3 bedroom cottage
25kws .... for a 3 to 4 bedroom house
40kws .... 4 to 5 bed house
60kws .... a big house! (about double the next largest stove on the market!)

The upper bodies of the stove are made in 8mm steel plate, with the 'jaw'
grate in 25mm. There are no internal baffles, no firebicks, no fire bars ... not even rope seals! ... nothing on the stove
to ever replace, unless the glass panel is accidentally broken (in which case another one simply slides into place)

the boiler itself is built in 6mm plate, pressure tested up to 70 psi ... everything double the industry standard!
