a compact wee stove, multi-fuel. In 3 basic sizes, but can be scaled right up to industrial
units (e.g. 'incinerators').
...
can acommodate a saddle boiler for domestic hot water
... a newly designed high efficient boiler version is under test, the MEGA DEVIL,
and will be available in 2010
... our first attempt to really simplify the design, to cut down on build cost
perhaps suitable for a tall recess, or a cottage kitchen
literally, a hybrid between the SUMO and the FIREBUG. Perhaps our best
selling stove. Simple, compact and versatile
ideal for placing in front of an existing fireplace, or setting partially within a recess
... our oldest design still on the go, deriving originally from a traditional box
stove. We tugged the shape around until we ended with this ... puts the volume where you want it, a truly massive fire base. we can shape the Aztec to fit almost any situation
The SUMO is really the multi-fuel
version of the AZTEC. a powerful multi-fuel
stove, with a broad loading door for big logs. It
best typifies the various principles we've developed over the years, getting the shape and the material to do the
work. The large surface area of the fire
box makes for an ideal boiler version, when double-skinned with a water jacket
SUMO
... our only stove to come directly from an aesthetic notion (a scribble on a
pub napkin ... thank you Kirsty!) the shape works
the flame harder, for thorough combustion, while the increased surface area transfers the heat rapidly to the room ... in
effect a large heat exchanger!
.... a new stove for 2010, developed in conjunction
with a boiler version. It's an evolution of the Little Devil stove, but we're
aiming for more thorough combustion. The split baffle we think is a unique solution to increasing body surface area, while
protecting the steel from burn-out.; it also allows a secondary air inlet to the back of the stove for re-combustion ... very
compact, very powerful!
